Columbus State – serving 45,000+ students each year – is our region’s number-one engine for preparing students for in-demand jobs and meeting the growing and evolving needs of regional employers.

Three out of four (75%) Columbus State graduates are employed right here in Central Ohio – in fields like healthcare, business, public safety, manufacturing, IT, and other technologies – making significant contributions to the well-being and economic strength of our Franklin County communities.

COLUMBUS STATE FOR A STRONG FUTURE
To continue its focus on accessibility, affordability, and preparing students for success in the 21st century workforce, Columbus State placed a 0.65-mill bond issue on the Franklin County 2020 Primary Election ballot.
Our local investment of less-than $2 a month per $100,000 of property value will modernize and improve 200 old classrooms and labs, add new technology, create state-of-the-art education and training, and update the 50-year-old campus – making it more secure, well maintained, and fully accessible.
