Investigator Ken Kotouch studied law enforcement at Youngstown State University, attended the Ohio Peace Officer Academy, and received specialized professional training from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation. Ken was formerly a dectective on the Struthers, Ohio Police Department. He is the most decorated officer to ever serve in the Department and his impressive list of awards include:

• Silver Star for Bravery, March 1991

• American Police Officers Hall of Fame inductee

• Ohio Distinguished Law Enforcement Valor Award, January 1989
